Volunteer With Us
We are currently recruiting professional volunteers for remote opportunities. At this time, we are not taking on volunteers at our residential centre in Cambodia. However, we do welcome sponsors and donors for supervised visits. Please contact our Operations Manager at om@sunrisecambodia.org.kh to arrange a visit or discuss any donations you’d like to bring along for the kids.

Photography & Video
Are you a photographer or videographer planning to visit Cambodia soon? We would love your help.​
​
1. Photography and video skills
We will soon be upgrading our website and would greatly value fresh photographs and short video stories that we can use on our website and social media platforms.
​
2. Teaching and workshops
We run regular photography workshops for our children and would love additional support. If you have photography or videography skills and enjoy teaching, we would be delighted to welcome you to run or assist with a workshop.

3. Camera donations
And of course for our photography students, we also need cameras. We are currently seeking SLR or mirrorless cameras and accessories. Good-quality second-hand equipment is very welcome.

Information Technology
At Sunrise, some of our systems and record-keeping processes are a little out of date. We would love support in streamlining and upgrading the way we work — from our database and app usage to staff training and digital tools. If you can help, we would love to hear from you.

At this time, we are especially keen to connect with volunteers who have experience with Salesforce, Mailchimp, Google Grants, and Facebook fundraising.

By joining our group of volunteers, you can use your IT skills to help change the lives of our children. It is also a great opportunity for emerging professionals to gain valuable experience and build new skills and connections.

Marketing
We are currently recruiting a team of marketing professionals to brainstorm new ideas to help us reach new sponsors, engage corporate donors, develop campaigns with businesses, and strengthen our social media presence.
We would also welcome advice and support in improving our website.
By joining our group of volunteers, you can use your marketing skills to help change the lives of our children. It is also a great opportunity for emerging professionals to gain valuable experience and build new skills and connections.

Fundraising
We are recruiting volunteers to organise fundraising activities in their communities, including corporate fundraisers, school events, auctions, and crowdfunding campaigns. If you have an idea, we’d love to hear it. You can choose to raise funds for a specific program or support our monthly operating costs.
